Description

Sea Glimpse is the first in my Autumn Series of soft pastel workshops. Find your pastel mojo after break. I’ll be sharing my best tips for creating foliage and creating depth in your landscapes. Plus, we’ll cover tips on using your sketchbook to capture inspiration from your daily walks. It’s all recorded so you can repeat and work at you own time and pace. You can now access as a recording at a time and pace that suit you. The Live video and recording is hosted in a dedicated Facebook Group or you can access the recording on my website, if you prefer.

You can paint along with me or just watch me and absorb the process to repeat at a later date. I suggest watching and drawing a second time, as it’s hard to do both things well, in my experience. I’m using ( approx 20 x 30 cm ) Uart 400 but you can use Pastelmat for a similar effect and Unison Colour pastels, learn more about the workshops here. You don’t have to use sanded papers but they make a huge difference to the vibrancy of your artwork when used with good quality pigments like Unison Colour.

When you buy the workshop, please access the link in the website receipt for more information.

This has been the most wonderful workshop and a great start to her Autumn Series 2023. Nina is an inspirational and highly knowledgeable teacher. Her online workshops are a great place to learn and develop the beautiful medium of soft pastels, together with a friendly encouraging online community. Every class is well rounded and well planned, plus you can watch the video in your own time as many times as you like. I personally choose to watch the ‘live class’ and paint later so as not to miss anything. I would highly recommend Nina’s workshops. In fact I count down the days until the next one!

An excellent class, Nina is a skilled and experienced teacher with a wonderfuly warm and helpful way of teaching. My pastel painting has blossomed under her guidance and really looking forward to her next workshop 😊
